THOMSON will soon release the Movotrak 7th Axis (Linear Axis), a plug-in model designed for the FANUC CRX series.

• MovoTrak-CTU is a 7th-axis (linear axis) plugin for the CRX that enables easy setup and operation.
• It is equipped with a variety of features that enhance productivity, including an innovative collision detection function and the Freedrive programming mode.
• Horizontal travel range up to 10 meters.
• Adjustable collision detection functions similar to the robot’s own joints.
• Two types of safety stop functions: (1) Paddle Stop and (2) Collision Detection Stop.
• A 7-axis FreeDrive mode that enables linear teaching similar to a cobot.
• Includes a 10 mm back-off motion upon collision detection in accordance with ISO/TS 15066 considerations.
• Compatible with all CRX models from CRX-5iA to CRX-30iA.
• Maximum speed : 1 m/s.
• Positioning accuracy: ±25 μm.

It will also be featured on the FANUC official website under the “Plugin-Compatible Peripheral Devices” section, offering a powerful solution that significantly expands the application range of the CRX series.

This exhibition will be held in conjunction with IREX (2025 International Robot Exhibition), taking place from December 3 (Wed) to December 6 (Sat). The venue is conveniently located midway between the nearest stations adjacent to Tokyo Big Sight, providing easy access.
